‘Racist’ Clarkson Remark Has Sparked A £1m Lawsuit
The BBC is being sued for a reputed £1 million by Indian-born actress Somi Guha for showing alleged “casual racism” on screen. The offending remark came when Clarkson and Hammond were admiring their finished bridge over the river Cock. At that moment, Clarkson says “That is a proud moment, but there’s a slope on it,” while an Asian man is seen walking across it. Hammond quickly replies with: “You’re right, it’s definitely higher on that side.”
Confused with what’s allegedly wrong with this short conversation? While extremely uncommon in the English language, ‘Slope’ is a derogatory term to describe people of Asian descent, which has sparked accusations from Guha – and others – of “casual racism.” The BBC is yet to comment, but Clarkson has taken to Twitter to respond to the controversy with his usual irreverent humour.
Meet Mad Mike and his RX-7
Originally coming from a FMX background, "Mad" Mike Whiddett made a major impact in the drift scene when he released his Red Bull branded RX 7 drift car. Mike is a talented driver who pushes himself and his car to the limits everytime he takes to the track. This was evident in his showing at the Red Bull World Drifting Championships in LA where Mike made his way into the "Great Eight" but then pushed to hard and crashed his car. And of course with the success of his brain-child, Red Bull Drift Shifters which was a 'pin-ball styled event, executed in downtown Auckland City in front of a 10,000+ crowd.
With a huge following in the NZ drift community, Mike is a great ambassador for Red Bull NZ and the sport of drifting.

Countersteer
Feather the gas (or you'll be cooked).
Practice theese direction, and you'll be a master drifter in no time.
How i learned is if your in a manual transmission car is to:

2. Hit the brake
3. Pull up the handbrake
4. Press the clutch all the way in
5. Turn in the opposing direction

Denise Bortnak, known in the industry as DenniiB. Dennii is quite the interesting girl; she has recently made quite a name for herself in the modeling industry as a special edition Playboy model and to top that off she is rocking the car scene as she is an up and coming drifter. Yeah, that wasn’t a typo, I said drifter.

Today I have a special article .Do you remember the Old Fisherman in The Fast And The Furious Tokyo Drift? the role was given to Keiichi Tsuchiya and he is pretty much the biggest legend in drifting – ever. You see, Tsuchiya is the Drift King, and in 1977 he went out and shot the first ever drifting video, called Pluspy. I have no idea why it’s called this. All I know is that Tsuchiya’s drive on an empty Japanese mountain road (touge) will have you doing cartwheels of joy. Search ‘Pluspy’ on your internet browser and enjoy.

The AE86 (Hachi-Roku) generation of the Toyota Corolla was called the Levin (fixed headlights) and Sprinter Trueno (pop up headlamps) in Japan, and it’s the car that most successful Japanese drifters started their careers in. Thing is, they didn’t reach legendary status for being easy to drift – they got there because they were a good challenge. If you can drift a Hachi well, you can drift anything…
